BMW r 1250 r Details

BMW r 1250 r is designed for a more dynamic appearance. This is mainly due to the all-new Boxer engine - with a maximum torque of 143 Nm, the reworked engine saves more power than ever before. It uses the boxer-twin format and as such, gets a new engine which is present on the R1250 GS. Engine displacement has increased to 1254cc. The options list is one mile long, with the LED DRL being only the tip of the iceberg. The list includes electronic suspension, different paint schemes, different wheels, an exhaust HP Sports exhaust, a separate seat and emergency calling features in case of an accident.

The purpose of developing the new boxer engine in the BMW R1250R, BMW R1250RS and R1250GS Adventure was to further increase the already impressive output and torque figures of the predecessor models. This includes a significant increase in levels of refining and ongoing smoothness as well as optimized emissions and fuel consumption. Two ride modes as standard, ASC and Hill Start Control.
Two ride modes are available as standard to be able to customize the motorcycle to individual rider preferences.
