Kawasaki W800 Street Kawasaki is a modern-day classic motorcycle idea. It is the successor of the Kawasaki W1, which was sold during the 60s and in case of style, it is a perfect replica of the motorcycle. While W800 Street is mostly retro in its appeal, it has some modern touches to equalize it with the current time. The bike's round headlamp Cowl House has full-LED lighting. Turn signal and tail lamps also have LED lighting.

The length of the Kawasaki W800 Street is 2,190 mm, 790 mm in width and 1,135 mm in height. In it, ground clearance of 125 mm, the height of the seat of 790 mm and curb at 222 kilograms. The fuel tank is 15 litres of the fuel efficiency of 22.7 km, while the engine provides the top speed of 177 kmph. At present, Kawasaki is presenting the W800 Street in India as a colour option in the global markets. It is only available in black with grey dual-tone paint. In terms of competition, W800 Street Triumph Street goes against Twin and Ducati Scambler Icon.

Kawasaki W800 street is powered by a 773cc, parallel-twin engine, which produces a power of 47bhp and a torque of 62.9Nm. This is suitable for five-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. Braking on a motorcycle is controlled by 320mm disc-up front and 270 mm disc in the rear with a double-channel ABS. Meanwhile, to keep things as retro as possible, Kawasaki has equipped W800 Street with a telescopic fork up front and a twin shock set up in the rear.

Since Chrome is the untold role of retro-inspired motorcycles, Kawasaki has given Chrome Treatment to the W800 Street headlamp cowl, turn signal, handlar, exhaust pipe, wheel and rear suspension. In addition, the fuel-tank, single-seat seat with a ribbed pattern, round mirror and fork gator completes the retro appeal of the W800.

Kawasaki W800 Street is a retro bike and inspired by the Kawasaki W1. It is being offered in single variant and in the Matelic Flat Spark Black/Metallic Matte Graphite Gray Solo Color Scheme in Sports. Awarded Rs.9.32 lakh, Kawasaki W800 street rivals Bonneville T100 where the design is concerned. But where the price is concerned, it is the closest competitor to Triumph Street Twin. Both of these Triumph motorcycles have been sold well in India.

Booking for new Kawasaki W800 Street in all company showrooms happened, while delivery is due in mid-August. After Z900RS Kawasaki W800 Street is the company's second retro offer in India. However, the W800 will come from semi-hitting kits unlike Z900RS from Japan, which was brought in as a CBU. The bike will be collected at the company's plant in Chacon, near Pune.

The bike will be sold in a limited number and delivery will start by August 2019. There is an upright riding posture in motorcycles and the design language is traditional. Headlamp unit up front has been flanked by turn indicators. Styling mainly sets up high handlebars after the twin-pod instrument cluster with analogue and LCD display. A seat is a single unit in which there is a scoop for the height of the rider. Exhaust headers end up in chrome until the end.
